Description

Lyn's offers friendly service and healthy portion sizes. The Chicken Salad is only marginally smaller than that other place famous for Greek salad and yet significantly cheaper. Despite a relatively short stay on campus, its reputation has spread - the long lines at lunch time are often crowded by hospital employees 3 blocks away. -MY

I had the bacon, egg, and cheese on bagel. The cheese is melted and the bacon is also amazing! As I was waiting to order, this girl cut in line ahead of me and I have to say I was a bit annoyed but they made sure I get my order first! Great service! -Ben Franklin

Delicious sandwiches and wraps cooked as fast as they can make them. Lyn and her husband are a great duo, and Lyn will start to remember you and your order if you go frequently enough! Great prices too -- $3.50 for a hot and fresh breakfast sandwich. -Jenny

Their sandwiches are pretty amazing. Their ham, egg, and cheese on rye is so delicious. The food is reasonably priced. The servers are friendly. The lines can get quite long at certain times of the day, but only because it\'s definitely worth the wait. -Ben Franklin

Stopped by on Tuesday and had to have the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel with hot sauce, salt, and pepper. So delicious and only $3.25. The bacon was perfectly crispy with the fatty portions melting in your mouth. The cheese was all gooey around the eggs. I saw the cook working on what looked like actual steak (as opposed to the byproduct other carts seem to use). I went back the next day and had a very tasty cheese steak with fried onions. Not the meatiest steak I\'ve had, but still hit the spot. I have a feeling I\'m going to become a regular. -nom nom

I love this place! The food is cheap, and it's a great lunch. Lots of options if you want to try something new. Sure, the eggplant parm is great, but I also love the chicken gyro and the Italian sausage works. I think it'd be pretty awkward to eat these during class, though, the gyro is stuffed with lettuce and tomatoes (a good thing!) and the Isw is very saucy. Lyn and Quan are always friendly, and always smiling. There are always a lot of people there, so sometimes if you are in a rush, it's not the best place to go, but the service isn't at all slow. If you're one of 3 people there, you'll get your food in no time! If you're one of 10...don't go when you're rushing to class. Overall, Lyn's is awesome!!! -Ryun

Probably one of my favorite trucks on campus. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, cheap and massive. Cheesesteaks are also some of the best around, and the grilled chicken pitas/sandwiches are amazing, mostly because of their special honey mustard sauce. I don't even generally like honey mustard, but it's fantastic. -Ben Franklin

Lyn's eggplant parm is sooo good. Their daughter went to Penn, so they know how to cater to Penn students. -Ben Franklin

This is my go-to truck. The grilled chicken special on a long roll is delicious - get it with a mix of honey mustard and mayo. I'm not a fan of their tuna, and they don't carry kaiser rolls... but no other complaints. Totally worth the wait! -greektome

I love Lyn's! I tried all the other sandwich carts on Spruce and Lyn's consistently had better quality, better portion size, and simply the best overall value. Nothing special, nothing fancy, just delicious cheesesteaks, eggplant parm, breakfast sandwiches, et cetera. I've never had a bad or even mildly disappointing meal there. Try the cheesesteak with hot sauce (Sriracha) and mayonnaise "on the bun." -Grad Student

You will not find a better breakfast sandwich on campus. You get a big portion for a great price, the food is consistently perfect, and if you don't have a crush on Linh after a few days there's something wrong with you. -Brian

This truck is one of the few with a proprietor who is always smiling. Highly recommended. Strict vegetarians beware, the marinara sauce all comes from the same vat as the meatballs even if you order a veggie dish. -AG
